Seatpost Options

PXR017-D road frame will come with 20mm offset(set back) and 7*7mm saddle rail clamp (fit regular round shape saddle) by default. In theary, a set back post offers more compliance and a marginally more comfortable ride than an in-line one. In-line seatpost can be considered the same but it’s more suitable for bicycle races. If you need 0mm offset(in-line) seat post and 7*9mm saddle rail clamp(fit most carbon rail saddle) , please let us know when placing orders.

Threaded T47 Bottom Bracket

 The traditional finished products rarely have round holes that are aligned with each other. For this bike frame, it's with threaded T47 bottom bracket and aluminum parts of the bottom bracket are wrapped into the frame in preliminary shaping. After the molding is completed, the thread will be machined by CNC. In that case, the concentricity and accuracy will be super perfect. T47 is a good solution to a problem of creaking bottom bracket.

T47 Bottom Bracket Accessary

T47 is a new bottom bracket standard, and starting to be considered by brand frame manufacturers.
Two different types: 24mm for Shimano or 30mm axles for SRAM DUB.

Full Hidden Cable Design With Handlebar

There is no doubt that full internal cable routing looks rather pretty. PXR017-D road carbon frame is with full hidden cable routing design(cable enter frame from under integrated handlebar). Perfect combination of professional geometry and full internal cable routing design. This design looks really nice and clean after whole bike assembled.

Latex 3D Mandrel Technology

In the production of our road carbon frames, newest one-piece latex 3D mandrel and moulding technology are used.
Such technology helps to optimize the orthodromic and strength of carbon fiber, and avoid wrinkle inside (wrinkle is a key factor that may cause crack). Even using same material, the strength is improved 30%. 
To achieve same strength, tradition method requires thickness 1mm-1.2mm, while such new technology only requires 0.5mm-0.8mm thickness. Thus, we are able to make the frame about 15% lighter, given strength unchanged.
For 3D latex mandrel, it is smooth inside, no wrinkle or bubble as shown in the left pictures.
